Sylvester Stallone fans, please do not find this offensive, but this great actor did say once, “In a contest between me and a bulldog, you would say the bulldog is cuter”, and I totally agree with him (I admit though I drool over this star). Bulldogs might look a bit too intimidating owing to their bulky appearance, but they are unquestionably one of the most amiable breeds you will ever come across. According to the American Kennel Club, a bulldog is usually a kind, courageous and dignified pet. They are excellent with kids and strangers, despite the fact they were initially bred to participate in a violent sport called bullbaiting. All it takes to provide happiness to this stocky, snoring, drooling little darling is a cozy lap (a bed will do just as fine), food, and loads of love.
Chunk is one such bulldog that absolutely adores his new bed. He had one previously of course, but the new one’s definitely his favorite. For starters, it’s bigger, and it is also fluffier. The added perk is that it is surrounded by his favorite toys, including that huge chimp soft toy and the white teddy bear. Just watch as he prances about on his bed, overjoyed at the fact that it is more luxurious than the earlier one. Chunk digs into it with his front paws every now and then, almost as if in an attempt to ensure his bed has no defects. He pauses for a few seconds after the initial excitement, trying to calm down before he begins again. Oh! There he starts off once more, rushing to his old bed and back to the brand new one, frisking around like a lamb, till he falls down to the other side.
It is indeed a pleasure watching puppies as they fool around, but Chunk undoubtedly takes the trophy for being ultra-cute, don’t you think so? If you agree with me, please pass it on.
