Rodents have been the cause of mess across the world for several years now. One such famous tale is that of ‘Pied Piper of Hamelin’, a man who saved his town which was terrorized by the infestation of rats. The mayor of Hamelin met the colorfully dressed Pied Piper to help the people of his town in getting rid of the rats. The rat catcher, who played a pipe, attracted all the rats in town by his tunes and then successfully drove all of them towards the Weser River, where all of them apart from just one rodent drowned. Unfortunately, not all humans possess the magical skills of attracting rats towards a drain or a river like the legendary Piper. For several years, man has been adopting several methods to get rid of rats like poisonous baits, traps and even domesticated cats for the sole purpose. Man is known to be the most rational creature but sometimes the instincts of these tiny mice overpower the intelligence of man. All the means employed by humans to take these rodents to task turn out to be futile and the menacing mortals rule the house all over again. People invent new ways to abolish rats, while the latter put in all their might to make all those attempts a failure.

This man uses mundane materials such as plastic bottle, wooden chopstick, rubber band, thread and clip and simple tools like nipper, AWL and knife to construct a mouse trap in a matter of minutes. The only extraordinary element that goes into making the trap is this man’s exceptional intellectual faculty. He amalgamates these materials in an exceptional manner, thus, bringing forth one of the most efficient traps for rats.
The best part about the plastic bottle trap is that it does not require any expertise and can be constructed at home without any fuss. Yet again, man proves to be the most knowledgeable of all creatures.
